Architecture, Construction, & Engineering Mentors (ACE)

The ACE Mentor Program of America (ACE) is a free, award-winning, after school program designed to inform about careers in the Architecture, Construction and Engineering industry, including skilled trades. At each meeting, mentors who work professionally within the ACE fields join the group to discuss the ins-and-outs of the construction and design process.

During the first semester, mentors lead informative talks, answer student questions, facilitate hands-on experiences in order for students to explore possible career paths.

In the second semester, the students work in cooperation with the mentors to design a complete project from the ground up, which is presented at the ACE Gala at UofL each May. All students end the year with a product they can add to their college applications and personal portfolios, scholarships are awarded to both seniors and underclassmen each year.

Meets 1st and 3rd Wednesdays (starting in October) from 3:30-5:30 in room 142
